ESSC WINTER 2024 TOURNAMENT
What a fun day! A few friends and I decided to play in an ESSC tournament! It's been nearly a year since some of them have played so I'm so surprised how well we did! It was fun and I'm looking forward to playing again! Also, I did not come up with the team name lol
ETA-DAKIMASU TOURNAMENT
This was a tournament hosted by Eric and his wife Shirley! If you're in Edmonton and like Sushi or Poke bowls, check out their Instagram!
The tournament was held at Vimy Ridge Academy. It was the first time I was there and although one of the gyms was really limited on serving space, the floors were fantastically grippy and the facility was in great shape! All the teams were amazing and it really opened my eyes to how much I really need to work on lol. It's always a blast playing with friends though!
SHIBUYA INCIDENT TOURNAMENT
This was the Shibuya Incident Tournament hosted by our friend Aaron Perea! Thank you for organizing everything it was a blast!
It was another fun filled day of volleyball with friends! We had no idea that the competition would be so high, but losing builds character and it really pushes you to want to get better! Can't wait to play some more!
ESSC WINTER 2023 VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
This tournament was really fun! 😊 We have all played with each other individually, but never as a complete team, so it was a learning experience for sure, especially at the beginning! I wanted to get a video out ASAP and this video was already 40 minutes long, so this is only half of the tournament. I will post the rest by next week! Hope you enjoy!
Also, yes, we were playing on Men's net height (2.43m) It's actually crazy how many of you think we play on a kids net lol. 😉

Woah! This was so fun! Thank you to Ashley for organizing this event. I've never actually played in a tournament before so this was a good learning experience for me. Next time I will definitely be bringing banana's so I don't cramp! haha
